  • All Huskies coaches aged 18 and above hold a valid Working With Children Check in accordance with the guidelines outlined by the Office of the Children’s Guardian.

  • Training days and times vary depending on what team the player is on. These days and times can change from one season to another based on availability of court facilities. Refer to your coach or team manager for more information.

    We generally train across 3 venues, namely:

    • Kevin Betts Stadium, Mount Druitt - Ralph Place, MOUNT DRUITT NSW 2770

    • Charlie Lowes Leisure Centre, Emerton - 35 Jersey Road, EMERTON NSW 2770

    • The Hustle Society - 4/6 Purdy St, MINCHINBURY NSW 2770

  • Game nights vary depending on age group:

    Kevin Betts Stadium, MOUNT DRUITT

    • Mondays from 6:30pm - U10 Mixed

    • Mondays from 7:10pm - U18 Boys

    • Thursdays from 6:00pm - U16 Boys

    • Fridays from 6:00pm - U14 Boys

    Blacktown Leisure Centre, STANHOPE

    • Tuesdays from 7:35pm - U22 Boys / Men

    • Wednesdays from 6:00pm - U14 Girls

    • Wednesdays from 6:50pm - U16 Girls

    • Wednesdays from 7:35pm - U18 Girls

    • Wednesdays from from 8:25pm - Women

    Charlie Lowles Leisure Centre, EMERTON

    • Fridays from 6:15pm - U12 Mixed

    • Fridays from 7:45pm - U14 Girls

  • Information about Sydney Huskies Basketball Inc. fees and charges can be found in the terms & conditions document here.

    Please note that Huskies fees are separate to the fees charged by the City of Blacktown Basketball Association.

  • Once your registration is confirmed and the player has a spot on the roster, you will receive an invoice via email. 

    Our preferred payment method is via bank transfer into the Sydney Huskies account (details provided on the invoice).

    Other payment methods include online card payments or AfterPay via our payment and invoicing platform however please note this does incur an Online Payment Surcharge.

  • This is a fee to cover the cost of processing online card payments or AfterPay via the Square platform. If you do not wish to pay this fee, you have the option to use our preferred payment method - Bank Transfer.

    Example:

    • Huskies Fee $180.00

    • Huskies Junior Membership $20.00

    • Online Payment Surcharge $10.00

    • TOTAL: $210.00

    Method of Payment:

    • Online/Card/AfterPay: you pay $210.00

    • Bank Transfer: you pay $200.00

    If paying via Bank Transfer, please send us an email with the screenshot of the payment confirmation.

  • We are an accredited NSW Active Kids provider. There is a section on the registration form to enter in your voucher details. We will then process the voucher and adjust your invoice accordingly.

  • We look at each individual on a case by case basis, hold a discussion with the parents, and agree on a course of action. That being said, majority of our players are in the 10-year old range and up. Contact us to organise an appointment.

  • While having a good grasp of the fundamentals or having played previously is a "nice to have", it certainly isn't necessary; all we need is for your child to want to play and have a go. We are happy to discuss potential options. Contact us to organise an appointment.

  • For training: any sports attire in general would be suitable i.e. singlet or shirt and playing shorts, socks and basketball shoes where possible. A water bottle and towel would also be highly recommended.

    For games: all Huskies players must wear the prescribed Huskies player uniform to be allowed to take the court.

    Basketball sizes:

    • U10 and U12s - Size 4 or 5 basketball

    • U14s - Size 6 basketball

    • U16 and up - Size 7 basketball

    Sizing ranges from:

    K6, K8, K10, K12, K14, XS, S, M, L, 2XL-9XL

    Please allow up to 4 weeks. Payment must be made in full prior to order being sent to our supplier.

  • If a particular item is not in stock, an order through our supplier can take up to 4 weeks (5-6 weeks in busy periods e.g. Easter, Christmas, New Year, etc). Please be patient. Merch orders must be paid prior to an order being placed with our supplier.

  • The full player kit comprised of reversible player jersey, reversible player shorts, and reversible training jersey costs $135.00 inc GST.
